Yes, we are going to gather at the Excelsior Pub, as we often do, & then, instead of adjourning to another venue for the reading–we will REMAIN at the Excelsior Pub, for poetry from:
Hajar Hussaini is a writing student at The Sage Colleges and the editor of The Rev, Sage’s litmag. Though not published, Hajar read at the Bravest Women in the World conference at the Massachusetts Poetry Festival, Pen + Brush Gallery in NYC, and First Person Plural Reading Series in Harlem, NY.
David Abel is an editor, teacher, proprietor of Passages Bookshop and The Text Garage in Portland, Oregon. He publishes chapbooks and a broadside series, is a founder member of the Spare Room reading series as well as the 13 Hats collaboration. His latest books are Tether, published by Bare bone books and Float by Chax Press.
